did you ever stop to notice?
My grandpapa is turning 80 this coming Sept. 80 my goodness! I thought he’d still be in his late 70s but lil brother reminded me that he’s gonna be 80 soon. I feel so blessed to have my grandfather still. Although his age is almost a century, he’s still very much strong and able. I may not be his favourite grandchild, but i’m proud to say that i’m the only grandchild that gives him the most attention. It saddens me to see my grandpapa blabbering to himself at times, especially now that my grandma has gone staying with my elder brother. My grandpa seems lonely. That’s why his conversations with me and mom are always a bit different and strange. He sometimes talks about his two other sons, on how they hardly call what more visit him. I really feel sorry for him. If i were in his shoes, i too will feel sad and disappointed in my own children. I But nevertheless, i’m thankful to God for keeping him healthy all these years.
